November 11 PR-agency "paperweight" and the Finnish construction company SRV held a conference on "Is there life on Okhta: integrated development of the territories in Krasnogvardeyskiy district of St. Petersburg" in the framework of the international week of the Urban UrbanWeek 2015.
Team "paperweight" gathered at the event, leading market experts. Among the speakers were the managing partner of UK "Theorem", Igor Vodop'yanov, Regional Director of SRV in Russia Jussi Kuutsa, the NCC Development Director Alexander Svinolobov, producer of the Museum of street art Albina Engine, head of the St. Petersburg office of JLL Andrey Amosov, journalist, art, architecture critic Maria Elkin.
Experts estimated the prospects of development of the district and discussed the prerequisites for its transformation into a new center of business and cultural life of St. Petersburg. During the discussion, the speakers tried to answer questions about how to properly position the region; how to develop areas that bring the proper social and economic benefits to all - and businesses, and residents of the Okhta.
The event was attended by representatives of the business community, municipal district authorities, leading business and trade publications and portals.
